There’s a cracker of a festive season in store this Christmas in Aylesbury town centre!

Get into the Christmas spirit by attending the fabulous Christmas Lights Switch On, this year featuring live performances and guest appearances from the Waterside Theatre’s panto Beauty and The Beast. Starting at 5.30pm, there’ll be lots of entertainment including live music, fun fair and fireworks.

Families can welcome Santa and his friends to Aylesbury on Sunday 24 November. This year, there’s bouncing elves, stilt walkers, and a colourful array of music and dance groups, accompanying Santa through the town centre.

The family fun doesn’t stop there… visit Santa’s Grotto, get crafty at Queens Park Arts Centre workshops, boo and hiss the baddies of the Snow Queen panto, and don’t miss the fantastic Festive Family Fun event on Sunday 8 December. Or for a traditional Christmas treat attend Carolfest.

Looking for some unique gifts and stocking fillers? As well as our great array of shops in the town centre, you can head to one of the many gift fairs including Buckinghamshire’s largest free Christmas Craft and Gift Fair on 1 December, Off the Wall Art Fair and Queens Park Arts Centre Christmas Pop Up Shop. Or if you’re feeling particularly creative, make your own gift with Sunday Special Workshops.

Head into town for late night shopping on Thursdays from now until Christmas Eve, and park for free in AVDC town centre car parks on Thursdays after 3.30pm from 28 November to 19 December. And for last-minute shoppers, a great selection of stalls awaits at the late night shopping event on Thur 19 December.
