Christmas is a special time of year in Aylesbury and we are excited to bring to you a host of events that will be taking place over the festive season.
There’s lots of family fun to be had around the town, including all the favourites – panto, carols, markets and more.
The Aylesbury Waterside Theatre will be playing host to Aladdin, featuring Holby City and Eastenders star Davood Ghadami as Abanazar. Also in the show will be Andy Collins, of BBC Three Counties Radio, who plays Wishee Washee. Widow Twankey will be played by La Voix. The show runs until 2 January 2023.
At the Queen Park Arts Theatre, you can take in a brand-new adaptation of the magical Wizard of Oz. This must-see family pantomime is packed full of slapstick and songs, dances and derring-do, and features beautiful handmade scenery, costumes, and props.
And at the Discover Bucks Museum, you can see the A Christmas Carol – a One-Man Show, a wonderful performance of the Charles Dickens classic.

And of course, no Christmas is complete without a visit to Father Christmas, which you can do at Friars Square. Find out when you can meet him here
Meanwhile, explore the county and you will find much more Christmas inspiration. Our friends at Visit Buckinghamshire have put together this great guide for Christmas gift shopping for loved ones and enjoying festive food and drink with friends and family.
