Things to do in Aylesbury town centre
Whether you live locally or are visiting the area for a few days, enjoy the great choice of things to do in Aylesbury town centre.
For fun with family or friends try out Aqua Vale’s water slides and lazy river or strike it lucky at Rogue Bowling. You can catch the latest film at the Odeon cinema or enjoy a show at one of our two theatres. Aylesbury Waterside Theatre hosts world class entertainment including West End productions, whilst the Limelight Theatre, at Queens Park Arts Centre, offers affordable access to quality professional shows.
Thrill seekers should head along to Rogue Racing to test your driving skills and see if you could be the next Lewis Hamilton. Why not get hands on and join one of the many workshops at Queens Park Arts Centre – there’s over seventy to choose from!
Soak up some culture with a visit to the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery and Bucks County Museum, in the heart of the old town. Discover art, history, archaeology and more, as well as a programme of exciting events.
If you are looking for things to do at lunchtimes, head to St Mary’s Church for their Music at Lunchtime concerts, which take place most Thursdays. Otherwise, get some fresh air whilst taking a walk along the canal or wandering through the picturesque streets of the old town.
If you need a breather, take the weight off your feet at one of the many cafés and restaurants in the town, including Italian, Greek and Japanese, and we even have a dedicated dessert parlour!
There’s so many things to do in Aylesbury town centre, don’t take our word for it – come and see for yourself!
