Long Road Home

Loading Events

Long Road Home is a song based rock band, whose music is drenched in the blues and shades of prog. The band’s influences can be traced back to the emergence of the British Blues scene, the 70’s and beyond, through subsequent related genres, which continue up to the present day. Influences include bands and artists such as Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Focus, Gary Moore, Robin Trower and Joe Bonamassa.

Members of the band have worked with many notable musicians including Bernie Marsden, Keith Emerson, members of Gary Moore’s band, Uriah Heep, Thunder, Larry Miller and many more. The band appeals to blues and rock fans alike.

“With a line-up soaked in Brit-blues pedigree, Long Road Home inevitably play like demons. But while the five-piece can kick around a 12-bar, these self written songs are probably more imaginative than you’re be expecting.” Henry Yates – Classic Rock magazine

“An absolute stormer of hi-energy, full throttle, electric-driven blues-rock” Blues Matters Magazine.

“…powerful songs that reflect their rich musical heritage. File under excellent!” Blues In Britain Magazine.

Long Road Home are one of the most musically interesting bands on the UK blues rock scene.
