Santa's Sunday Spectacular @ Aylesbury Town Centre | England | United Kingdom

Aylesbury Town Centre festive events will herald the start of this year’s Yule ❤️ Aylesbury’s activities.

Santa’s Sunday Spectacular launches the festivities this year and is organised by the Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership. It will start with a colourful vibrant display made up of professional acts, local businesses and non-profit organisations parading their way around the town centre with musical entertainment throughout the parade. The parade, starting at a new time of noon, will be lead by Fantastic Mr Fox. It will last approximately one hour taking the route from Hale Leys loading bay, along the High Street and do a loop and a half of Market Square. Eagerly waiting crowds waving and cheering for the arrival of Father Christmas in his open top classic Tourer car.

After the parade, there will be an enticing range of street food along with a small fun fair, go karts, character meet and greets, face painting, Christmas magic, arts, and crafts. In addition, a variety of fantastic street entertainers keeping the crowds in a festive spirit. There will be free roller-skating activities in Kingsbury along with a Snow globe outside the One4six cafe in Hale Leys for all the family to enjoy. This specific activity has been kindly sponsored by Hale Leys Shopping Centre for your pleasure.

At 4 pm until 4.30pm, join in with carol singing around the Christmas tree in the town centre outside HSBC for the Christmas tree light up.

The Santa Dash organised by Florence Nightingale hospice will take place before the parade as Santa Dashers’ will run, jog, scoot or walk their way around the town, start the 5 km at 9:30am and the 2.5km at 10:00 am from Bucks University raising money for their charity, if you want to get involved with this, head to the Florence Nightingale website for further information.
