We’ve got lots of fiendish fun to keep the kids entertained in Aylesbury this October Half Term.

Halloween Crafts at Discover Bucks Museum – Mon 25 to Sat 30 Oct (charge)

Discover Bucks Museum have some spooky Halloween and Autumn inspired crafts for everyone to have a go at this half term holiday. Have a go at making Cats ‘n Bats, your very own Mummy or create your own Witch’s Potion Bottle for all of your spooky spells. If you’re planning to go trick-or-treating design your own Halloween tote bag to collect your goodies. Crafts £3.75

Plus all week enjoy a self-led pumpkin trails and craft for just £1 and the usual fascinating fun from the museum.

Frightful Fun at Friars Square – Tue 26 Oct (FREE)

Put on your scariest costume and come join in the spooktacular fun at Friars Square on Terrifying Tuesday 26 October (11-3) – if you dare.

Enjoy Bread and Butter’s Zombie Disco shows at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm with prizes for the best outfit. There will also be walkabouts from The Mummies and stilt walking from Cruella De Vil and Morticia.

Their amazing pop-up craft workshop will be back for Halloween. Children can create bats, cats, witches and all manner of spooky things to take home. Plus, there will be a spooky spot the lot trail for youngsters to win a trick or treat.

Hocus Pocus Thursday Fun – Thur 28 Oct (FREE and paid activities)

Enjoy some Hocus Pocus Halloween fun on Market Square, Thursday 28 October between 11am – 3 pm. Feel free to come in your best Halloween fancy dress on the day!

Bring you little ghouls and ghosts along to the get involved and be enchanted by Sean who will be conjuring up some of his mystical enchanting magic when the clock strikes on the hour.

Elsa and Anna from Frozen are also planning to make a visit*, as chosen by our Facebook followers!

The library will be joining in on the ghoulish fun by spinning a tale between 11.30am – 12 and 2.30pm – 3 pm. Watching over all your little ghouls and ghost will be a wicked witch, so be sure not to upset her or she might wave her magic wand and put a spell on you! And nobody wants to be turned into a toad!

All these activities will be fiendishly free but there are some activities including devilish pottery making, Go Karts and Chair 0′ Planes for a small charge.

Pumpkin Party at Flip Out – Sunday 31 Oct (charge)

Get your Pumpkins at the ready! Flip Out’s Famous Pumpkin Party is here! A Halloween Experience not to be missed, they’ve got a spooktacular day planned.

Their Arena will transform into a mysterious land…full of ghosts, ghouls & more. They’ve got some flippin’ awesome giveaways taking place as well.

If Halloween’s not your style, do check out the Queen’s Park Arts Centre’s half term art club for 7-11 year olds. Make some extra-special cards for Christmas, or how about giving shadow puppets a go?

Funky Cinema Halloween favourites (charges)

Grab yourself a bargain spook show with five Halloween favourites for all ages on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October at Funky Cinema. Titles include PGs Monster House and Goosebumps, 15s An American Werewolf in London and Wicker Man, and 18 classic The Exorcist.

Aylesbury Escape Room – Haunted House (charge)

Taking refuge from a storm, you are accidentally locked in a haunted house, from which a family previously vanished in cruel and sinister circumstances. The family are coming back to seek revenge. You have one chance to escape. And 60 minutes.

Stay & Play Halloween Party – 30 Oct (charge)

Stay & Play Soft Play are holding a special Halloween Party on Saturday 30th October. Their carnival-themed day is going to be pun-packed. Each child will get sweets and treats to take home and lots of memories, from the carnival games they are holding and an adventure in our one day only spooky softplay maze.
Book one of five 90-minute slots from 9am to 5pm for a spooktacular time.
