This October half term Discover Bucks Museum have a fun filled week of arts and crafts topped off with a spooky family Halloween day on Saturday 28 October. Join them for different activities each day from Monday to Saturday.
They also have a spooky Halloween inspired trail for just £1, available every day from reception for all to enjoy.
Monday 23 October – Rangoli Sun Catcher Craft
Visitors will create and decorate a colourful stain glass rangoli sun catcher to hang in their window at home as well as a rangoli mandala to colour in and decorate.
Monday 23 October – Willow Lanterns for Festival of Lights Celebration
Holy Cow Community Events and Buck Heroes (a Discover Bucks Museum project) are excited to invite you to a very special art workshop to make a sustainable Willow Lanterns as part of the Aylesbury 2023 Festival of Lights Celebration.
Tuesday 24 October – Autumn Collage
Join the Bucks Heroes project in making a sensory autumn collage.
Wednesday 25 October – Autumn Clay Leaves
Make a clay leaf to take home with you. Using autumn leaves as your template carve your leaf out of air drying clay and etch your decoration into it.
Thursday 26 October – Flying Bat Scene
Make an flying bat scene. Decorate your backdrop, create your bat and make it move!
Friday 27 October – Spooky Spider Webs
Create and decorate your hanging spider web to take home, then make a little spider to live on it – make it as cute or as spooky as you want.
Saturday 28 October – Family Halloween Day
Come dressed in your best costumes to party the day away at Discover Bucks Museum.
