Right in the heart of Aylesbury, a selection of fun-filled, action-packed days were organised by the Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership over the summer holidays to keep the children active and entertained.
Thursday 25 July might have been one of the hottest days on record in the UK, but children of all ages turned out to see Colonel Custard and his award-winning magic show as he conjured up mind-blowing tricks before their eyes.
The mobile petting farm was also a huge success, with many children having the opportunity to interact with the wide range of animals and their offspring. BuDS was also on hand to support people with any disabilities with their sensory zone.
At another event, strength was the name of the game, as children tried their skill on the bouldering wall – a wall you climb around rather than straight up, by using a unique set of climbing skills. At the same time, the adventurers and explorers among us went caving in the interactive mobile caving unit.
On Thursday 22 August, the ever-popular Robogeddon returned to Kingsbury, giving children the opportunity to compete against each other through dramatic robot battles.
