Watch the highlights from last year’s festival!

Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) is excited to announce the return of WhizzFizzFest on Saturday 27 June 2020. Festival goers can expect another whizzfizzingly wonderful day as the eagerly-anticipated family-friendly literary and arts festival returns to Aylesbury for 2020.

Following on from last year’s tremendous success, WhizzFizzFest will be brimming with exciting celebrity author guests, engaging county-wide workshops and the ever-popular giant puppet parade of local school children through the town centre. With many ticketed and free events to attend, the family-friendly festival will offer returning favourites and new and exciting things to see and do, all helping to shape the day into another spectacular celebration of children’s art and literature.

As always, WhizzFizzFest is made truly spectacular by the support, involvement and contributions from the local community.  Whether you’re a local school, organisation or club or would just like to be involved in this year’s WhizzFizzFest there’s a whole host of opportunities available on the website: whizzfizzfest.org.uk/get-involved

Will Rysdale, AVDC Assistant Director – Community Fulfilment, said: “Every year WhizzFizzFest continues to grow, attracting fantastic crowds into Aylesbury and building on the town’s amazing community spirit. This year’s event is promising to bring even more family-friendly fun and we can’t wait to be able to announce the line-up for WhizzFizzFest 2020. Be sure to save the date and keep your eyes peeled for all the latest information and updates!”

More details, including WhizzFizzFest’s special guests, will be announced in the New Year with tickets being released on Thursday 5 March to celebrate World Book Day.
