Enjoy a tour of the private parkland at Eythrope this February.
Dates: 15, 16 & 17 February 2023
Time: 10.15am
The woodland garden at Eythrope was developed from informal pleasure grounds in the mid-18th century. Alice de Rothschild made improvements to the garden, adding the boathouse, ornamental rock work and influencing the planting schemes including the Snowdrops. Snowdrops (Galanthus) are a welcome sight in the winter months as they herald the arrival of spring. Translating to ‘milk white flower’, keep a look out for drifts of snowdrops in the gardens. More recently spring bulbs and winter flowering shrubs have been added to create a truly inspiring winter walk.
Visits to this private parkland and woodland garden are accompanied by Waddesdon’s garden guides and last approximately 60 minutes. Following your tour enjoy a delicious two-course lunch and glass of wine at the Five Arrows Hotel, at the entrance to the grounds of Waddesdon Manor. You will also get grounds admission to Waddesdon included in your ticket.
Price: £50
Discount available for RHS members.
