Heritage Open Days: Discover Bucks Museum

Join us at Discover Bucks Museum on Saturday 7th September between 11 – 3pm where in our beautiful garden under our marquee we will be representing Buckinghamshire’s heritage. In attendance we will have:

Buckinghamshire Council Heritage team – Handle local archaeological artefacts and engage with them on the ongoing Aylesbury Conservation area review and gain advice on heritage matters.

Wildwood Wonders – Take part in natural arts and crafts.

Buckinghamshire Archives.

Hand Talking – a history of British sign language.

Museum Curators – handle objects from our collections and talk with our Keeper of Natural History, Mike Palmer.

We will also have a performance at 1:30pm by the RAF Pipe band.

Along with all of this we will have family friendly crafts to take part in and games.
