ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
A workshop focusing on watercolour techniques and using wet on wet to create an imaginary landscape. In this workshop we will be using Stockmar watercolours to explore the subject of landscape painting in an expressive and gestural style, using simple brushstrokes and looking at different ways to create texture in our paintings.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Joanna has been a practicing artist for the past 10 years, working predominantly in watercolour. She started off including ink with her watercolour studies and is now branching into using acrylic in mostly portraiture. She has dabbled in landscape work and depicting buildings for clients and album cover design for local musicians.
WHAT TO BRING
All materials will be provided in the class, although students will need to wear old clothes or an apron.
