He played alongside some of the greats including Bobby Watson, Jools Holland, Bheki Mseleku, Ralph Moore, Jerry Bergonzi, Jean Toussaint, Kenny Garrett and Tony Kofi & more.. Leon Daniel – Acoustic Piano
Leon Daniel was born and grew up in Aylesbury and established himself as a jazz pianist on the London Jazz circuit playing with the likes of Jim Mullen, Dave O’Higgins, Tony Kofi and Ralph Moore. Leon has an exciting modern jazz piano style with a unique voice; having been schooled by a number of US based jazz piano titans including John Hicks, Carlos McKinney, Jason Moran and Eric Lewis. Now locally based, Leon returns to the church where he honed his skills as a young pianist!
