Heritage Open Days in Aylesbury

Open your eyes to the fascinating history and culture of Aylesbury this September.  From 6-15 September, Heritage Open Days will give you the opportunity to discover hidden or rarely open locations scattered across the town in England’s largest festival of history and culture. All events are free and include tours, talks, performances, exhibitions and much more!

The exciting events give you the opportunity to get a glimpse inside some rarely open buildings such as the Masonic Lodge on Rippon Street. Have a nose at what’s inside the Town Hall’s chamber with a chance to meet the mayor. Enjoy a guided town centre heritage walk and learn some interesting facts about the town. Listen to a free jazz concert with local musicians at Aylesbury Music Centre or join an international food tour discovering eateries and shops around the town plus much more!

All events are free to attend but check carefully as some have limited spaces and require pre-booking.

You’ll find information for lots of exciting events here. Full details and links to book events (where required) can be found on the Heritage Open Day website.
