Summer is finally here and the weather will soon be perfect for relaxing outside with a cool drink in hand after a hard day’s work. But there’s just one question – where should I head to catch up with friends in the long summer evenings?
It’s no secret there are lots of lovely pub gardens across Bucks, but Aylesbury has an impressive collection of historic courtyards, sunny terraces and laid-back beer gardens right in the town centre.
The Rockwood, The Queens Head and The Harrow have extended into pedestrianised streets to create attractive spots, and The Manor with a unique rooftop bar looking out over the Chilterns will soon be celebrating its first anniversary.
